Happy Easter!
Umm....it's April, right? And this is Texas? Did the groundhog lie to us?
Despite the weather, we had a nice Easter. 2 egg hunts and dinner at Frank's parents for both families.
And today, it's 80 degrees and GORGEOUS. Yep, this IS Texas. As they say: if you don't like the weather, just wait 5 minutes :)

New Addition
Got ourselves a new kitchen table this week. I LOVE it! I was afraid it'd be a little big in the space, but it fits quite nicely and even matches the barstools I was ready to get rid of.
Frank's been very patient through my "change everything in the house" phase, but I'm sure he's relieved that we won't be getting new barstools ALSO. At least not this month.

Hello! We're going to try out this family blog thing. It'll be interesting to see how well we update it.
What's new with us: Uncle Scott bought his first house this weekend, so we all went there to help him move in. It's a great house with great decorating & landscaping potential, and we think Scott made a great choice for his first house.
 | We also got to see Aly, who happened to be in Dallas for a bridal shower. We picked her up at her friend's parents' house and dragged her to a family lunch at a local Mexican joint, where we had too many margaritas. It was great to see her!
We'll probably get to see her again in July in Chicago, when we help cheer her through her survivor's triathlon. Go Aly! |
The only part of the weekend that wasn't premium was that we had to drop Frank off at the airport so he could fly to Paris for the week, for business.
