We went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon for about 9 days. We left the day after our wedding from Austin, connected in Dallas, and
landed in San Jose, Costa Rica a few hours later. We didn't have to change time zones, which was really nice. A family member who lives in CR met us at the airport
and took us to our hotel, giving us a bit of a tour along the way.
After a night in San Jose, we were driven to the Arenal volcano area. On the way we saw Sansa airlines, which we were supposed to fly from our final spot back to San Jose.
After seeing the planes, a panic set in that Shelley wasn't ever quite able to put out of her mind. In the Arenal area, we stayed in a lodge less
than 2 miles from the active volcano, which was amazing. We saw lot of critters and did a canopy zip line activity.
